ChallengeTo create an open “Mini Seminar” environment in which a 4 minute presentation on the use of SmartPly could be delivered within an informal setting, as well as to develop an imaginative way of displaying the product and a series of images illustrating product application. The stand also needed to be reconfigurable as it was to go from a 7m x 3.5m 3 sided open site at the NEC, Birmingham (England) to a 8m x 6m island site at the King’s Hall, Belfast (Northern Ireland) within a matter of days. SolutionA partially screened off seminar area defined by two tone flooring and a striking angled canopy, with contemporary Bum Bars complimenting the fresh informal feel of the overall design. The images are mounted on the reverse of flame polished acrylic and suspended in front of an exploded close up of SmartPly printed on a natural linen fabric to create dramatic contrast and depth. The corner features combine creative CNC work and powerful up lighting to add dramatic effect.
Client Comment"From conception to completion, John worked closely with us to ensure that our criteria were met. He wanted to fully understand our business to come up with the innovative stand design, which has been extremely well received by our potential clients. Throughout the process he made suggestions to further enhance the message that we wanted to deliver but did not force his opinions on us." We are, overall, extremely happy with the final product.” Peter Clifton, Market Development Manager, SmartPly Europe Ltd
Softek
Challenge To design within the 7m x 5m island stand an open feeling environment that portrayed a strong brand image, highlighted 4 particular software partners with interactive demonstration areas for each, and an informal relaxation area. As this is Softek's only large event annually, as much as possible of the stand was to be rented with the remainder to be retained for re-use in following years.Solution A contempory, custom-modular, open-plan stand design, incorporating all the features specified.
All the graphics and central unit bespoke semi-circular table tops are retained for future use - the large circular graphic is a zip off fabric on a rented aluminium frame, and all other graphics were magnetically applied therefore easily removed, rolled up, and stored. Client Comment "This solution met all our creative and practical criteria. We were particularly impressed with your teams commitment at the installation of the stand - we messed up in ordering the electrical supply, not allowing the stand to be completed the day before the show but they worked late and came in the morning of the show to ensure everything was ready for the show opening time. We look forward to working with you again next year."

ChallengeTo design a stand which reflected the aspirations and ethos of the company. Project a relaxed and modern feel, complimenting the range of products and services Amadeus offer to the travel industry. Incorporate earthy colours into the graphics and integrate a massage area into the stand layout both to reinforce the informal feel of the design.
Solution A modern, open-plan stand design, incorporating all the major features specified by Amadeus. The layout of the stand allows the visitor to pass from one area to the next with ease and is designed to draw a parallel between the stand and the travel solutions provided by Amadeus. The graphics and graphic design further re-enforce this concept, by using the latest digital fabric technology, light semi-transparent graphic drops break up the different areas of interest whilst providing clear branding opportunities. As specified a consultation and massage area was incorporated to the overall design whilst still maintaining an open-plan feel.Client Comment"Amadeus UK has a streamlined marketing department, which means it is important for us to identify and work with partner companies who are experts in their respective fields. You handled our project - from initial design to onsite construction/dismantling and secure storage - in a thoroughly professional manner. I would not hesitate in recommending you to any company wishing to create an impact at exhibitions." Rob Golledge, Manager Communications, Amadeus UK

Want booth to be open and inviting with a contemporary look and feel. Solution Use truss in yellow with blue and white laminate panels to build a large aislespan booth in Bic’s signature colors. Truss ties all elements together, directs attention to large overhead fabric sign and provides structural integrity. Angled lightboxes at entrance invite attendees into the booth. Custom features including showcase displays, slot wall panels, storage drawers and lightbox graphics allow Bic to merchandise a wide variety of products and to easily reconfigure the exhibit. Client Comment“For any company that participates in a variety of different types and sizes of shows, a modular booth is the answer. It’s more cost effective than purchasing a different booth for each show.”Paul Lage, Global VP, BiC
